The DS-2660 MaRe is the quintessential contemporary lounger whose unpretentious lines allow it to blend perfectly into any living environment without losing its individual character as a stand-alone piece. Like the wings of a glider, the reclining surface of the DS-2660 MaRe nestles in a robust yet graceful frame of square steel tubing. The trapezoidal lines of the edges and reclining surface give the model a modern yet timeless character. Designer Christophe Marchand has incorporated an irresistibly sophisticated invisible mechanism which enhances still further the lounger’s functionality. The reclining surface is infinitely adjustable and can be blocked in any position; no levers and no gas springs are required – all that is necessary is a balanced interplay of push and pull. There is virtually no point discussing ergonomy since anyone who sits in the chair will realise at once that the design complies uncompromisingly with every ergonomic demand. This lounger ensures that any form of sitting is both relaxing and comfortable - whether you are chatting with friends, reading a book, watching TV or taking a brief nap. There is only one thing you might find difficult: once you are sitting or reclining, you’ll never want to get up again!
DS-Living
de Sede selects the hides it uses in accordance with the most rigorous quality standards. Only bulls and bullocks raised in the best breeding conditions are deemed good enough for this purpose. DS-Living is a lightly pigmented nappa leather with lightly embossed graining. Between 1.5 and 1.7 mm thick, the leather is extremely hard-wearing, has an easy-care finish and is elegant in appearance.
